Jose Ignacio Juarez Rangel passed away in sleep, leaving family members in Austin, Texas, and San Luis Potosi, Mexico, grieving a painful loss.
Brenda Luna Rangel created a fundraiser on June 6, 2026, to help cover vigil, transportation, and funeral arrangements.
The fundraiser had raised $940 of a $5.5K goal through 15 donations at the time shared.
Family members hope to hold a vigil in Austin after the autopsy, giving loved ones and friends time to gather, remember Jose Ignacio, and say goodbye.
After the vigil, the family hopes to bring Jose Ignacio home to their mother in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, for comfort and final arrangements.
Memorial service details will be announced later by family members.
